Terms of Service
Document version: 2026-05-19
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TBPal website, desktop application, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by the TBPal project ("we", "us"). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. What the Service does
TBPal is a companion tool that helps you automate certain repetitive actions in strategy games you play through your own client or browser. The Service may read on-screen information, send input commands, and store account and usage data as described in our Privacy Notice. We do not operate, host, or endorse any third-party game or publisher.
3. Your accounts and responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Any game accounts, credentials, or subscriptions you use with third-party platforms or websites;
- Compliance with the rules, terms, and policies of those platforms;
- Your device security, backups, and network connection;
- How you configure and supervise automation while the Service is running.
Automation may behave unexpectedly because of game updates, UI changes, network issues, or misconfiguration. You use the Service at your own risk.
4. No responsibility for losses
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, penalty, suspension, ban, loss of virtual goods, loss of progress, loss of revenue, or other harm arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to losses connected with game accounts you use on other sites or applications, incorrect coordinates, failed searches, interrupted sessions, or actions taken while automation is enabled.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) fifty euros (€50), unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans, credits, and renewals are processed by our payment provider. Pricing, refunds, and charge disputes are subject to the payment provider's policies and any checkout terms shown at purchase. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment or abuse.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, attempt to circumvent access controls, reverse engineer server components except where law allows, resell access without permission, or use the Service in a way that violates law or third-party rights.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will publish a new version and may require you to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the desktop application or certain features. The version identifier shown at acceptance is stored with your account.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers and limits of liability) remain in effect.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent through the contact method published on the website.
